Susan Yanabu Ihle

Hi, I’m Susan Yanabu Ihle, your local State Farm agent, and I’m passionate about helping people feel confident in every season of life. I was born and raised here in Mililani. My childhood memories are playing in the pineapple fields and red dirt. When I attended Mililani High School in the early 1980’s, Mililani Town Center didn’t exist—it was all pineapple fields. Mililani has definitely grown since then, and I’m still proud to call it my “home”.

My career with State Farm began in 1987. I am proud to be a second generation State Farm Agent. My dad, George Yanabu, had his agency in Wahiawa and the Mililani Shopping Center. After graduating from the University of Hawaii @ Manoa, I decided to work in his office, which was the greatest decision I could have ever made! I enjoyed working with our customers and helping them protect what was important to them. After 10 years as a team member in his office and four years of management training, I started my own agency in 2001. My office is currently located in the Mililani Tech Park next to Leilehua Golf Course.

I have a team of five who are eager to help you! My well-rounded team bring 80 years of industry experience to you, plus my Office Manager and Assistant Office Manager have over 40 years of claim handling experience.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me walking around my neighborhood or sitting on our patio with friends and family. I love contributing to community events that allow us to get out and meet our neighbors. That’s why I proudly sponsor Mililani Town Association events like “Movies at the Pool” and Craft Fairs at our Rec Centers!
